Who… Me?

Just a bit about me

Born and raised in both Kansas City Missouri and Warwickshire UK, I am a chicago based voiceover artist, actor, and Pediatric Intensive Care Nurse. I have a passion and skill for working with children in the hospital, loving the ability to help the patients and families heal but my heart lies in the arts, creating and telling stories.

Growing up in both the United States and the United Kingdom I was a very confused child, but extremely fortunate! Do I add ‘U’s to color?? Is that the Bin or a trash can?? Definitely two nations divided by a common language.

However because of it, I am able to perform a convincing midlands british accent along with a slew of american dialects.

Not knowing what I wanted to do with my life I took a gap year and hopped aboard a 210 ft long, 27 sail, 3 masted Tall ship. My crewmates and I sailed around the atlantic visiting 19 different countries, 23 different ports of call while taking college course classes. I fell in love with sailing and the community we created while discovering how to fit into this incredible world.

My logo is a version of a Turks head, used on ships to help strength stays and help buffer the lines from chaffing the metal or leather, while also being decorative. An important piece of the ship that helps the whole operation to run smoothly

To say working in an ICU during a global pandemic was a breeze would be a lie, but I was so fortunate to be surrounded by amazing people devoting their lives to healing and the experience I have gained in the ICU has been absolutely priceless. I found myself, as many people have during the pandemic, losing my vulnerability, so I turned back to acting and all that it encompassed which helped me heal. However, with my medical training, I am able to work closely with businesses needing medical terminology read and performed.

The bottom line really is that I love trying to understand people and where they are coming from. I love telling their stories and maybe perhaps bring joy and understanding to those around me who are a part of this story telling.
